What we do

Immpact is a global research initiative whose aim is to promote better health for mothers to be in developing countries. Our objectives are closely linked with global efforts to meet the UN Millennium Development Goals for 2015, especially those related to maternal mortality reduction.

By carrying out studies of different strategies, and judging their effectiveness and the value for money they represent, Immpact also aims to produce the means for measurement and the supporting evidence which will help in the assessment of each strategy’s potential. By playing this important role in the decision making process we believe we can be the catalyst which brings about some very real health benefits for women, infants, and families. In turn, this will have great social and economic benefits for the communities in which they live.
